A missed paycheck, medical expense, family emergency or unexpected repair can place a household at risk of losing its home. CHC RISE combines possible one-time rental assistance with renter education, housing navigation, landlord communication and structured savings planning. Our goal is not only to address the immediate crisis, but to help each participating household become better prepared for the next financial disruption.

What RISE Means

Resilience: recovering from financial disruption. Information: understanding leases, resources and renter responsibilities. Savings: building a realistic emergency reserve. Empowerment: gaining the tools and confidence to remain stably housed.

How We Help

Eviction-prevention assistance; renter education; crisis budgeting and savings planning; housing navigation; landlord communication; referrals to legal, utility and community resources.

What to Prepare
